SOCCER ACADEMY DIRECTOR
For 20 years plus, Al Cousineau has led many elite local travel teams to top 10 state rankings. He most recently served as Head Soccer Coach for Stratford University until 2020. As a top coach, he was selected by the National Soccer Association of America to serve as a instructor. His youth coaching includes serving as a talent scout for the Virginia (ODP) Olympic Development Program. Most notably, In 2003, he co-founded Newport News FC Travel Soccer Club until 2017. His professional coaching certifications include: The Advanced National "B" Professional Soccer Coaching Diploma and the National Youth Academy Diploma and the National Diploma "C" and Regional Diploma "D".

Our Assistant Soccer Academy Directors lead our weekly training sessions and coach our PLEX teams during our indoor leagues. Asst. Directors have elite playing experience at the travel or college level and are actively working on obtaining coaching licenses from the NSCAA or the USSF.
